A disciplined party. Has Nancy brought discipline?
Edited on Tue Aug-28-07 07:01 AM by mmonk
For many years, people have lamented why the democrats weren't as disciplined as the republican party. Democrats, it seemed were hardly ever on the same page. Whenever this occurs, getting what many wanted passed in Congress seemed impossible. Well guess what? The party has become disciplined.

As many found out on the recent congressional break, and others sooner who have been seeking real justice for Americans that have served their country such as Sibel Edmonds and Valerie Plame, or have sought the end of an aggressive war that conflicted with both domestic and international law, the party has become very disciplined. They have an agenda. What it is isn't exactly clear. What people do know that have tried to be heard is that "impeachment would suck the air out of congress", "there are more important things to do", and there will be no "precipitous withdrawal" of American troops from Iraq. To those seeking justice for betrayed Americans serving their country; no words, no help, no one at home.

Yes the democratic congressional members have become very disciplined. Just not disciplined in traditional things many people demand or seek. It has become clear, constitutional government and grievances will have to wait for some other congress at some other time if it will return at all.
