I feel like Hippy from The Abyss (tin foil hat time).
Lindsey Brigman says "Hippy, you think every thing's a conspiracy!" Hippy looks at her and says "It is!!"

My primary reason for this is, first Rove and then just 2 weeks later, Gonzo. Who's next and is this a specifically timed, purposely enabled plan? In other words, what is * doing now, that needs to be hidden?

Anybody else? Or am I just wearing my tin hat a little too often and it's effecting my brain wave patterns?

4. I can imagine circumstances in which Cheney would be next.
If he goes, I expect Fred Thompson to be appointed to serve out his term.

Think Gerald Ford (to continue your Watergate reference). Freddy is the new Neocon puppet, and the Veepacy would give him a leg up. Hell, Bush might even resign to give one last push. I start thinking about Rove sneaking on board with Thompson & scare myself.

2. With these people....
You can never wear too many tinfoil hats. They always have an agenda and nothing is coincidence. Primary season is coming up. Post-Labor Day plans must be enacted now.

5. It's just that sometimes I think that I might be going crazy.
We know of a lot of things Bushco has done a lot to benefit themselves already and I can't help think that they're doing things to totally eliminate the middle class. I get the feeling they want a slave country.

7. jojo, you may be going crazy, but it hasn't affected your insight.
These gangster-scum are capable of anything - ANYTHING - and it looks as though no one is paying attention. You keep your hat on and your eyes open, there is something going down...and not in the good way...

11. May I say something that might sound a little loony?
I don't think it's only us. I think everybody with half a brain is cynical now. I also think that if you take anything at face value these days, there might be something wrong with you.

a lot and they are all completely distrustful of the Bush regime. Most of them have never had a "tin-foil" thought in their lives, but now they are being fitted for the Reynolds. It is spooky...

13. What it is ain't exactly clear
These Buffalo Springfield lyrics have been going through my mind quite often lately:

There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware

I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

9. That is total bullshit. Tony took this job just, what, a year ago?
And now suddenly he's got kids who need college? He didn't know what the job paid last year? He just found his college aged kids under a cabbage leaf? What did he know last year that he doesn't know now? Or better, What does he know now, that he didn't know last year?

8. For Cheney and the Bush to resign is for them to
Edited on Tue Aug-28-07 10:37 AM by Gman
admit publicly as well as personally that all is lost and the ship will go down. I believe they are all entirely too cocky as well as delusional to believe this. Too much foundation has been laid by the RW for them to just leave of their own accord. The SCOTUS has been packed. They control all the executive level offices. They have more than a fighting chance in next year's elections to perpetuate the right wing revolution of 2000. They have already started in CA and FL, the two biggest states they need to keep it going. THey are attacking Hillary relentlessly so as to get the Democrats to rally around her and make her the nominee. They feel Hillary would be the easiest to beat. (I think they greatly underestimate her, but that's what they believe.) General Petraus' report next month, while generated by the WH, will signal the beginning of a "Tet Offensive" by the RW. War in Iran is looming for both the oil as well as the public sympathy and support it will be expected to generate.

If they go, there is something bigger than anything we can imagine going on and I just don't think that's so at this point in time.

14. On behalf of the precious and protected Skep Ticks at DU
It is my duty to inform you that you are wearing :tinfoilhat: and are bordering dangerously on Magical Thinking and WOO-WOO.

(bear in mind that I have NOTHING to back up my assertions, only the premise that I am right and you are kooky.)
