"Even my worst days as an Attorney General have been better than my father's best days."--BULLSHIT!!
AG is trying to portray himself as a true beneficiary of the American Dream (supposedly the grandson of illegal immigrants, and one of eight children of an impovershed construction worker) who rose to success through hard work, pluck, and the gosh-darned good luck to live in America. He wants us to believe that a man who sold his soul, his honesty, his honor, to serve his political patron is somehow "better" off than a man who earned his family's bread in the sweat of his brow. This man belittles his own father's accomplishments and insults his integrity, for no better reason than that his father was forced to manual labor for his living. At least his father, no matter how unfairly he was treated or how poorly he was paid, could point to the buildings years later and say with pride "I helped build that". What can AG point to? The Constitution ("Shredded that sucker, we did")? The Department of Justice ("Turned it into a whorehouse")? The Black Camps ("I did more for torture than anyone since the Stassi")? Point to those and eat your pride, AG. Better to stink of honest sweat for a lifetime than to carry the scent of TRAITOR.

7. It threw me for a loop
I could not figure out what he meant when I first heard that cut. I will step away from sanity for a moment and contend that alberto might not have turned out so bad if he never met george bush.

3. His father would be so proud that his son chose to be a Republican bigot.
It is his son's party that has bred such hatred & contempt for illegal immigrants, which would apply to the senior Gonzales.

That irony struck me hard as he said that idiotic statement.

He certainly sold his soul to the devil in every way possible serving this God-forsaken administration.

5. Can't you just picture his father whacking him on the back of the head
for that one?

But he's seemingly fully bought into the Bush persecution story.

It's not his illegal activities (and just about no activities otherwise), it's nasty POLITICS.
