I sure can't fault the media for not getting the Craig story out! |
|
I've had CNN or MSNBC on in the background all day, and coupled with last night when they broke the story, they've been hammering this guy mercilessly! It just occurred to me how upset I would be if this were a Dem.

1. If a Dem were as hypocritical as Craig, I'd have no problem with it |
|
If it was just a random pro-gay pol who was being outed, that would be a different story, no matter which side they were on.

3. And that is exactly what the difference is. |

It's the hypocrisy of it all.
They condemn a group of people, then take steps to ensure those people will never have the same rights as they themselves have. And if the truth be known, they are a member of the group they are condemning!
How sick or mentally disturbed do you have to be to do such a thing?
Republicans are unfit to serve. Period. And they will look the other way if it's another GOPer. They are all a sick, twisted bunch.

2. For soliciting sex in a public toilet?? |

A Senator?? Oh yeah, that would be a story and rightfully so. Criminy. I think if Vitter had been a Dem, it would still be regular fodder and would be trotted out every time there was a hint of sex involved in a political story.
