1. Obviously the most complicated solution is the answer.
I suspect the Rosicrucians.

11. Just who would tell it? Not the police or court.
I think the paper that broke it said they got a call and went after the story to see if it was a real story. He is not a Sen. we hear a lot about. I am sure if it was McCain etc. it would have been out the day it happened. Low key Sen. in not his home state and so I see it staying under wraps. I must say I bet it was a big joke around the police station and court house. That some one heard it and picked it up wondering why it was not in the major news and called in a tip. So off it went.

6. Idaho
Is obviously 2 months behind the general time-space continuum.

Oh, and they didn't think anything of it. Same old, same old for the Rethugs.

7. If the media reported every single Republican caught blowing men in public restrooms...
there would be no time to cover things like Paris Hilton.

9. Reporter saying now he went back to MN to plead guilty ONE MONTH LATER
Edited on Tue Aug-28-07 04:01 PM by Stephanie
So he had a month to get a lawyer and think it over!

So I don't know if it's public record when he's arrested, or maybe not until he appears in court. Or maybe it went unnoticed until he appeared in court. And it was a Minnesota court, not Idaho.

12. From what I read on DailyKos
the Idaho Statesman was purported to be releasing an explosive investigative story on Sen. Craig's double life back in March. It was going to written by Dan Popkey, the paper's political columnnist, and would describe the results of months of investigation. However, March came and went and no story. Apparently, Craig and his lawyers met with the paper (gee, good thing the guy knows when to contact legal counsel:)) and the story was shelved indefinitely.

That, of course, was turned upside down by the article in yesterday's Roll Call and the IS found themselves scooped on their own scoop. Today's IS, as you can read, has the whole investigation. The writer said that the paper didn't release this before because they could not rely solely on the three alleged "victims" of Sen. Craig's advances.

So what....now they're telling the truth because he got caught cruising in a bathroom? The IS has a lot of egg on its face and deservedly so.

13. Cheney exposed Craig now to cover Bush's statement re ordering military to confront Iran in Iraq
I think Cheney has the dossier on every congressperson.

Otherwise I think someone got word that Flynt was about to out Craig and decided to act first.
