Brownie on CNN responding to Edwards' proposal to
enact a new law called "Brownie's Law" which will require that those appointed to a position be experienced.

"If John Edwards had a problem with my experience then he shouldn't have voted to confirm me."

And...

"At the time, I had more emergency management experience that Edwards had senatorial experience."

Paraphrased from broadcast, but it's close enough to what he said.

2. Yep, he said that. He did a heckuva job on NOLA, didn't he? That
"experience" really came in handy, didn't it?

What a douche.

4. Edwards really screwed up by bringing up "experience"
He's seriously lacking grown-ups as advisors.

6. I think a lawyer has experience with the law that would serve them well as a lawmaker

7. Presidents don't "make law" - Neither do ex-Senators
Edwards, if he was really sincere about all the issues he claims as "important", should've stayed in teh Senate and actually done something about them. Instead, he quit.

Edwards point is very valid.

13. "he shouldn't have voted to confirm me."
and if the Dems had tried to do any investigation into Brownie's qualifications ... the MSM would have screamed bloody murder that the Dems were invading his privacy ... conveniently ignoring the fact that most employers can look into your credit history + these days ...

14. Edwards has a valid issue but he should not have mentioned
Brown because Edwards voted to confirm him. Edwards made two mistakes:Confirming Brown then mentioning his name to make a point.

15. How can Brownie say that John Edwards voted to confirm him when
he was confirmed by voice vote?
