It's Tuesday -- Always a good day for Bush to threaten Iran.
"Mr. President, wouldn't you agree that your policies and their execution completely and totally fucked up the entire nation of Iraq?"

"Hey -- look over there! Iran is goin' nukular!"

Bush warns of 'holocaust' if Iran gets nukes

RENO (Thomson Financial) - US President George W Bush warned today that letting Iran acquire atomic weapons risked putting the Middle East 'under the shadow of a nuclear holocaust.'

'Iran's active pursuit of technology that could lead to nuclear weapons threatens to put a region already known for instability and violence under the shadow of a nuclear holocaust,' he told a veterans group here.

Bush's speech to the American Legion aimed to convince a war-weary US public that the war in Iraq was the central front in the fight against what he described as the Sunni Muslim extremism of the Al-Qaeda terrorist network and the Shiite extremism fuelled by Iran.

'Iran's actions threaten the security of nations everywhere, and the United States is rallying friends and allies to isolate Iran's regime to impose economic sanctions. We will confront this danger before it is too late,' he said.

Yeah, great George. No one believes you anymore, which is a damned shame because you've actually pissed off Iran enough that they actually could be a serious threat.

1. Thom Hartmann has predicted that he will try to launch a
war with Iran before September is over. It seems the preparation rhetoric is being spread through the media. It's important to start a war with Iran to distract from the meltdown going on in his administration. Too bad he hasn't taken the lessons from Hitler other than how to invade Poland (Iraq) and what the end result of too many wars will mean for him and us. I hope this time someone, Congress, the military or "we the people" stop him.

3. Something got ramped up today.
I really hate these people. At least I have no small children and can protest without worrying about my sons. :grr:
