I avoid using the trite language of success, but this is a "win-win" situation for the good guys.
When, suddenly, the defenders and excuse makers started getting quiet, I knew the fix was in. The "partisan witch hunt" bullshit faded about midday and I suspect that indicates it's time to throw this one of their number to the wolves, trying to save themselves.
I figure by the end of the year, probably sooner, he will be persuaded to spend more time with his family and more time on his (harrumph) hobbies.
This is pure panic time for republicans as this has drawn attention better than any other crime of the criminal party. Everybody is looking like--for us old farts--when your car wouldn't start at the drive-in movie and you had to leave. Push starting a Fiat 600D in front of all those eyes...

For literally the FIFTH time today (out of DOZENS of untaken opportunities): Larry Craig is NOT a pedophile. He is a homosexual. His crime involved homosexual activity between GROWN MEN.
