How many Bush administration officials does it take to change a light bulb?
How many Bush administration officials does it take to change a light bulb?

The answer is seven:

* One to deny that a light bulb needs to be replaced.

* One to attack and denigrate the patriotism of anyone who has questions about the burned out bulb.

* One to blame the previous administration for the burned out bulb.

* One to arrange the invasion of a country rumored to have a secret stockpile of light bulbs.

* One to get together with Vice President Cheney to figure out how to pay Halliburton one hundred million dollars for a new bulb.

* One to arrange a photo-op session showing Bush changing the light bulb while dressed in a flight suit and wrapped in an American flag.

* And finally, one to explain to Bush the difference between screwing in a light bulb and screwing up the country.

* Gonzales stating he doesn't recall ever changing a lightbulb.

* White House orders the maintenance department not to release any documents related to lightbulb requisitions as said documents are protected by executive priviledge.

* One Press Secretary refusing to comment on said burnt-out lightbulb during an on-going investigation as to the cause of lightbulbs burning out.

* MSM special reports and news crawlers about lightbulbs, frequency of burn out and safety tips on how to change lightbulbs.

* Lightbulb filled FEMA trailer-trucks drive around the country.

* Ex-bushies form an action group and run commercials to boost support for lightbulbs.

* Chertoff comments he has a gut feeling that this won't be the only lightbulb to burn out.

* Rush Limbaugh and similiar RWingers issue a list of songs to boycott, they include:
- The night the lights went out in Georgia
- You light up my life
- let there be light
- City Lights
- Shine A Light In The Dark
