Would he be as bad as Gonzo? Yep. He was highly involved with sanctioning torture. He lied about that. He lied about John Walker Lindh. Jessalyn Radack, who was in the ethics division of the Justice Dept, has detailed his lies. He lied about Katrina and massively mishandled DHS. No fucking way should he be AG.
Having said that, I don't think georgie will nominate him. I suspect we won't be having a nomination any time soon. George will let the repulsive and equally bad choice, Paul Clement hang in 'til January and then nominate him.
