For cspan watchers...
What do you think of the host that is on today? I know that she is new but, she has been irritating me for a while now. She says that it is open phones for 30 minutes then she reads papers for 10 minutes, then she accepts calls and lets them ramble on for 3 or 4 minutes when it usually is a caller who is not saying anything that is really relevant. When callers call in with good points she cuts them off, breaks into their conversation and begins to ask questions until they don't talk about what they really called for. When there is a guest that the callers would really like to get at she, ask questions for 20 minutes of the interview and the interviewee usually doesn't get but 6 or 7 questions in 45 minutes. My main problem is that she reads too many papers at once and she takes up too much time talking about nothing.

3. She irritates me, too and I'm not sure why.
She's lovely but doesn't smile enough or something. Her expression comes off as bored or at times, as sullen.

Maybe it's because she's relatively new on the job.

4. She just did it again,...
a lady repug called and started complaining about the katrina victims and she went on and on about how her son was in New Orleans and about how his situation was worse than anyone elses she also complain about how they came to Texas and they are doing everything to make them go back to New Orleans etc...Then another lady called after her and told her you might cut me off because I have to say what I have to say, she was discussing how bush wants to take care people in other countries but not the people who were affected by Katrina in this country. The host said thank you and cut her off.
