US should be trying to make nice with Iran because it's game, set, match...
http://rawstory.com/news/afp/US_warns_Iran_over_Iraq_nuclear_pro_08282007.html

Bush's Frank Sinatra policy in Iraq, i.e."My Way", has been an abject failure with the unintended consequence of empowering Iran.

It is only a matter of time before Iran goes "nukular", as numbnuts would say....

Better start making nice with all the boys in the sandbox, you can only bully someone for soo long until they fight back......

1. for everything that Bush has done wrong
he is right about the necessity of removing the religious nuts running Iran...

At the moment, the Iran public are behind the USA, this is where Bush is sooooo wrong, bomb the shit out of Iran and you will see that public opinion reverse.

This change needs to be made by the people of Iran, by announcing the US would support any Iranian uprising in the event it turned nasty, Bush would be making a brilliant political move and giving the 80% of Iranians who despise the religious nutcases running their country the courage to stand up and overthrow their govt.

However, Bush has neither the intelligence nor moral fortitude to take this step. He thrives on death and destruction, he gets some kind of sick sexual kick of blowing things up, he doesn`t believe in freedom and democracy and most importantly, he doesn`t want ordinary people around the globe to be inspired by what would be a monumental event (i.e Americans).

Peace

2. Peace? After your suggesting Bush should encourage revolution in Iran you end it with "Peace"?
Only problem with your view of Iran is that the "religious nuts" are the ones keeping a lid on Ahmedenijad. And remember, it wasn't Iran who traversed the globe to invade a neighbor of the US, create a quagmire and then try to blame the US for "interfering" in the internal affairs of said invaded country..

The Islamic Council in Iran has control of the military which surprises alot of uninformed people who seem to think Ahmedenijad has control of the military.

What about the religious nuts running the American gov't? Would you support a calling from outside of the US to rise up against Bush and wrest control of the American gov't from the right wing religious fundamentalist nuts

3. Thanks, Postman..I was shaking my head, reading that....
Also, what you didn't mention...re: encouraging revolution in Iran. Sure, that'll work. They'd be fools if they believed us on that one.

Uh, didn't we tell the Kurds or someone that they should rise up against Saadam and we'd have their back? So they did, and we let them be massacred? Why would anybody in the world rely on the promises of the US Government??
