Wow, Tweety's opening: Bush in a bunker (alone), with GOP's "subprime morality" exposed by Craig --
Tweety just painted a picture of everything falling apart for the whole Bush-GOP regime. First, Norm Coleman called for Craig's resignation, then McCain, the Senate leadership, and the WH, apparently, piled on. They are turning the screws on Craig. The video of Craig's remarks about Clinton have now been played twice at the beginning of "Hardball."

This is all I can report, but, as Tweety said, "It's a bad week for Bush." Gonzales, Craig. And now, he and Douglas Brinkley turn to Katrina, where Bush was "AWOL." Brinkley says the anger toward Bush in NOLA is "palpable" -- and apparently Bush had to sneak around and avoid Vitter!

Tweety and his guests are taking it to Bush, big time. And it's about time. Loved it when Brinkley said that the students at the school had to be muzzled because they wanted to heckle Bush and ask him a lot of questions. Chickenshit bastard.

ditched him for the longest time. Only watch when alerted by DU that it might not be quite so bad.

5. CNN reported that the teacher of the class that * visited told the kids not to say anything to *
about the Katrina disaster. The teacher told the children that "you can say what you want to Oprah but keep your opinions to yourself when the president is here."

:grr: The reporter said the children looked unhappy that * was there for a photo op.

7. Tweety's anger has been building for the past few weeks
I can see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice. He's pissed, although he's about 6 years too late.

13. I heard Buchanan say that and I thought he meant Iraq.
You know, when he said that Bush owned all these problems. Holy shit-when are we going to bomb Iran? I missed some of the beginning of the show. Gotta watch the repeat at 7.

19. The GOP has been a nasty, naughty, bad party
and no matter how much they lie about their behavior, there's no avoiding the spanking they're going to get next year.
