1. I've seen that all week on various NOLA blogs
it just now occurred to me that the stylized fleur-de-lis design would make a kick-ass streetlight for down there!

4. I just love this graphic--it's now my desktop photo.
I have such a hard time even thinking about what the people of NOLA went through--I can't hardly believe it's been two years.

Even harder to believe the Poser-in-Chief had the balls to show his face down there--he truly is a piece of work.

14. Even harder too believe is that anyone actually welcomed him there.
He should have been given the cold shoulder.

16. Nice, but not quite the same
I must admit, I was too beat from waiting for my bags to get in from Houston to be looking at much scenery on the way in back in Jan.

But those wouldn't be quite the same as lights based on the "We Are Not OK" design. Then again, archtectural variety is one of new Orleans' signature features.

5. Isn't that the truth?
Surely you'd think by now that a Repuke found soliciting gay sex in a public bathroom would hardly be newsworthy, especially since it's almost a daily occurrence anymore.

15. That's amazing
I know it's for NOLA, but for some reason it reminds me of the Jena Six, too. Injustice running amok in Louisiana, in more ways that one.
