Today's Politikin' at the Minnesota State Fair

My dear wife Janet, Franni Franken (wife of some guy named Al) and me 'representin'' at the Minnesota State Fair today!!!



Franni is a wonderful woman, doing some heavy lifting at the fair while Al campaigns up nort'!!!

Also met a good friend of Bill Richardson, he made some interesting economic points that directly impact our business...

1. Nice! How's Al doing in the polls? Is he going to win?

2. It's early...

I CAN tell you we watched the Norm Coleman booth for about 6-8 minutes and not a signle person even approached it.

Al also has a primary challenger, Mike Ciresi who seems pretty strong.

I haven't seen any recent poll data specific to the state...

4. I don't know how reliable polls would be at this point.

We're a caucus state and who gets the party's endorsement will all depend on who gets their supporters out on February 5 (and all the declared candidates have said they'll abide by the endorsement and not take it to a primary).

The last poll I saw did show Franken making significant gains, but still behind.

We had a blast at the fair!!! Did some politickin' and eating of things on sticks!!!

I even saw a ruler on a stick!

Janet got to play onstage with a drum group on the Green Mill stage!!! Now I gotta go buy drums!!!
