China News: "Toilet scandal-ridden Craig ousted from senior posts"
Thank you, China. It is not a "gay scandal". It is a toilet scandal.

Toilet scandal-ridden Craig, Vitter with his diaper scandal, and so on and so on.

BEIJING, Aug. 30 (Xinhuanet) -- U.S. Idaho Senator Larry Craig's political career seemed eroded Wednesday as fellow Republicans in congress urged him to resign and party leaders ousted him unceremoniously from senior committee posts, U.S. media reported on Thursday.

The White House expressed disappointment, too -- and nary a word of support for the 62-year-old lawmaker, who pleaded guilty earlier this month to a charge stemming from an undercover police operation in an airport men's room.

GOP Senate leaders on Wednesday issued a statement that said Craig had "agreed to comply with leadership's request" to temporarily give up his posts on important committees.

He has been the top Republican on the Veterans Affairs Committee, the Appropriations subcommittee on the Interior and the Energy and Natural Resources subcommittee on public lands and forests.
