Roeper response:It's an honor just to be nominated.

Roeper response:Why, is there a loony-left-wing-goofball convention taking place there?

Larry Cruz: "I always viewed you as more of a moderate than a liberal. To revisit the statement : 'As wholesome and family-friendly as those films are, both 'High School Musical' films promote tolerance, interracial dating and rejection of elitism, all liberal themes that drive those religious right-wingers nuts.' So . . . I'm Asian, right-wing, I'm quite religious, and I also believe in tolerance, interracial dating and rejecting elitism. Weird, huh? It's only a wild guess, but just maybe both liberals and conservatives believe in the same three values?"

Roeper response:Well said, Larry. I would hope you're right. But judging by the names I was called by many conservatives reacting to the column, I think some have to work on that whole "tolerant" thing.
