Watch Joan Walsh pimp slap Pat Buchanan

GOP in the toilet?

Aug. 29: In the wake of Sen. Craig’s arrest, Dan Abrams asks Salon.com’s Joan Walsh, political analyst Pat Buchanan and Roll Call’s Emily Heil if Republican politicians end up in more political sex scandals than Democrats. Watch video

2. How's a 'pimp slap' compare to a 'bitch slap'?
I assume the 'bitch slap' is that used by Ann Gottleib, wife of Canada's ambassador to the US who slapped her social secretary at a major function in front of the guests - wrongly for the sec. had not committed the faux pas she was accused of.

In this case, the slap was the forehand followed by the backhand. I think this is the most famous bitch slap.

What's a pimp slap?

expect that a Senator lives by the same standards he expects everyone else to live by?"

Heil from Roll Call definitely made the point that the Republicans are all over the Craig issue, but no one said anything about Vitter, stating it was a private matter, and that Vitter even got applause after meeting the Republicans behind closed doors. So how is it that Vitter's matter is private and Craig's isn't? What's the difference? GAY. That's the difference.

Joan from Salon made the point that no one likes hypocrites. And that people would remember the hypocrisy we've seen the last few years on the part of the Republicans.

And the Republican sex scandals over the last ten years are double the Dems. DOUBLE! So much for family values, eh? HYPOCRITES! ONE AND ALL!!

8. The difference, I believe, is that Craig pled guilty
to an offense and didn't tell anybody about it. Vitter has not been convicted of anything. The same goes for Ted Stevens and others under investigation, I would assume.

7. It's about the HYPOCRISY
Voting on an issue like "morality" is throwing your vote away...

It has it's "sex appeal" to some voter..haha.. and those voters are probably the same folks who think voting for a moral candidate will gain them some sort of redemption for their own personal sins...

Senator Craig has now found himself a victim of his own hate...

10. Somes quotes from the video:
Joan Walsh: "The poor man was trapped."
Emily Heil: "Republicans are targets for pushing family values."
Buchanan: "I'm not sure he's a hypocrite."
Walsh: "Pat, homosexuality is not a disease, and I'll not sit here and listen to you say that."
Heil: "Behind closed doors, Vitter was given a heary round of applause."
