Did you know that James Carville was running a campaign for an official Democratic bumper sticker?
I didn't. When googling the web, one finds that the only articles on this were in right wing blogs. Well, outside of Carville's announcement that is.

CNSNews (no way am I honoring the place with a link) tells us that Carville is so pleased with the big response. CNSNews tells us that the top vote getting bumper sticker nominees are:

"2008 - Republican Free Zone"
"Left Turn Ahead: Democrats 2008."

If you think these are lame, the other suggestions Carville provided are even lamer.

Now how much is Carville getting paid these days?

You know I agree with your stance of our involvement in LA, but how does this fit in?

he's had no problem consulting with the rightwing in Latin America. I'll be back.

11. Okay, I didn't know Carville was working for Venezuelean right wingers
Thanks for the links.

With someone as ineffective as Carville on the opposition side of things in Venezuela, Chavez just got a huge break. Ha!

Also, after following Madflordian's links in that thread, there is stuff about his involvement in Bolivia that boggles the mind

Early returns indicated an 80 percent majority in favor of repealing the existing hydrocarbons law pushed in the 1990s by the hated Sánchez de Lozada (or "Goni"), whose political consultants were the star liberal Democratic pollster Stanley Greenberg and former presidential campaign manager James Carville. The Washington-based Greenberg firm represents British Petroleum

I detest Carville to no end. Don't know what I am going to do when Clinton is crowned the Democratic candidate.

It was very distressing because I always wanted to like him. :(

13. If he's whoring for the right wing in Latin America,
there is no question. He's not on the side of progressives.

Destablize democracy in Latin American, get a check, and to hell with workers on both sides of the border.

3. I lost what little respect I had left for Carville after he attacked Dean's 50 State Strategy
Edited on Thu Aug-30-07 03:33 PM by Va Lefty
He is a mouthpiece for the Clintons. They want someone whose strings they can pull in the DNC and they know Dean is his own man. If Hillary get the nomination the Clintonites will show Dean the door.

9. Yeah - Carville sent emails about it -I think the best slogan
came from here - "The Rapture is Not an Exit Strategy".

I don't remember who exacly posted it - but it is really good. I was laughing for a long time.

Joe
