to be clear, Sen. Craig was busted by Mpls-St. Paul Intl. cops, not
Minneapolis cops.

they are separate entities....the airport has its own police force.

another distinction: Minneapolis cops have a thumper reputation. The first tme Sen. Craig hesitated, they would have thrown him to the floor and pounded the snot out of him.

1. Has Pat Robertson blamed Craig for the
bridge collapse yet? :freak:

6. You know he did sign his guilty plea on August 1st
I've been wondering whether he signed before or after 6:05 CST.

Where's Pat?
The Rethugs had meetings there for the family values crowd at that time. Oh the irony.
Add.

2. Would they have also said, "You nasty, bad, naughy boy!" too?

3. thanks for pointing that out
Minneapolis cops certainly do have a real knuckle-dragger reputation. St. Paul cops are usually pretty mellow, taking the "Colombo" approach.

4. Considering the difference, it's too bad
The first tme Sen. Craig hesitated, they would have thrown him to the floor and pounded the snot out of him.

All I can think about this is it's too damn bad it was the airport cops that arrested him. Hard to think of a more perfect justice than a hard-core rethug getting a good pounding.

5. They are locally known as MAC cops
The MAC is the Metropolitan Airport Commission.

The airport abuts but is not in fact in the city of Minneapolis. The misdemeanor prosecutions are handled not by county or city prosecutors but by small firm of Edina law firm of Thomsen and Nybeck.

7. So obviously Craig knew which crapper to go cruising in.

But as it turned out it just wasn't his day.
