In fact, I very distinctly got the impression that he was treating this as all the other cases he has and following procedure and getting a statement and he wanted Craig to be straight forward and honest with him and the more Craig lied, the more pissed the Cop got. Especially when Craig basically called the Cop a liar.

7. The spin for this is to paint criticism of Craig's perversion as gay hate.

This way "some can say" liberals are hypocrites while they simultaneously paint the gay community as restroom cruising sex freaks. There's also some cop-hate tossed into the mix to further slander progressives. It's a trifecta!

The problem with this is that the GOP has already tossed him under the bus. It will take a day or two for that reality to filter down to the rank and file. Once that happens, his newfound 'defenders' will do what their ilk always do. What they are told.
