pissed off. Thank you John Roberts for letting us know that the editorial board of the Idaho Statesman was not unanimous in its decision to run the Larry Craig hypocrisy story. And thanks for letting us know that the guilty plea given by Larry Craig was for disorderly conduct and not for a lewd act in a public airport restroom. Thanks, John. Now I know, thanks to you, that Larry Craig is an honest, forthright, trustworthy, and straight hetero-sexual man. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
And thanks to you too, MSNBC and CNN. While parts of young American soldiers and innocent Iraqi civilians are landing in Nebraska and Saskatchewan after being blown off in Bahgdad, you have rightly placed your priorities. After all, we, the American public, have no other care in the world than to vault a ten-years dead British princess to goddess-like stature while preparing for an entire day of mourning yet again.
I can see that I'm going to have to watch TVLand if I am to make it through this day without throwing a hammer through the teevee set - after which I am sure to experience cardiac arrest for doing so.

Planet Earth and Blue Earth (Discovery), Animal Planet, NatGeo (though I was not happy with their 9/11 retrospective as it followed the letter of the 9/11 Commission Non-Report), Food TV, TVLand and the CSPANs, I'd have tossed the damn thing in the yard already.

3. It was disorderly conduct |

I would think you should have no problem with the MSM reporting the truth.

7. I'm NOT talking about the charge, I'm talking about the failure |

of the MSM to report a story honestly, without trying to spin it so that it looks like Craig is a saint and the paper and the cops are the bad guys in this situation.
And yes, I KNOW!, the charge was disorderly conduct, reduced in a plea agreement from a public lewdness or solicitation charge. And that was probably allowed because the bastard laid down his senate business card.

8. It Was Disorderly Conduct And Interferance With Privacy |
|
The "Interferance With Privacy" charge emanates from Mr. Craig's decision to peer at the undercover cop for one to two minutes through a crack in the restroom stall as he sat on the shitter: http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/docs/craig-arrest-doc/?resultpage=2&

5. C-Span always gets my heart rate up. |
|
Especially Fridays when Brian's there. I find it hard to believe that these wing-nut callers are able to do this on their own. First, how can they possibly come up with these zingers! A lady called Wednesday, and stated, as a fact "well, Brian just got married to a man." Greta (their newest host) just sat there with a straight face and says, "movin' on, next caller"). Well, Brian must have been watching because about two calls later, Greta says, "FYI Brian is married to a woman". I spit my coffee across the room. :wtf:

6. I have four words for you. Well, four letters that stand for four words.... used to stand... |
|
Yeah. Back when it started, it was four words AND four letters. Now it's just four letters that really don't stand for four words.
ESPN.
They quit talking about Michael Vick, so it's all good.

Matlock, Murder She Wrote, and the bio channel with all the Mysteries they rerun....Also they have a lot of movies made for TV. I have programmed CNN, FOX out of my remote. I do leave headline news on, which I watch for ten minutes and then forget it for about three hours because the same thing they have at 9 they have at 1.
