"You won't find this in the MSM," said the knuckledragger after quoting a piece in the LA Times.
I grow weary of both sides screaming about media bias. The NY Times and NPR, apparently, have accomplished the remarkable feat of being a mouthpiece for both the GOP and the Democratic Party.

But, this was just too much: A classic bulletin board moron posts a lengthy excerpt from the http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-na-hsu29aug29,0,2313285.story?page=2">LA Times and then says this:

The MSM won't pick this up, it's up to the netizens and bloggers.

LOL! There's no cure for stupid.

3. Apparently, but unknown to the rest of the world, the LA Times has become a blog.
This is going to be particularly shocking to the owners and editors of the Times and citizens of LA who continue to get the newsprint version on their doorstep each day.

7. I would venture that most of us have that opinion about our local rags.
Our paper recently cut their staff by 30%. To compensate for the unavoidable decrease in output, they decided to increase the font size by -- you guessed it -- 30%. We now have this patheticly thin paper with huge print.

Oh, did I mention that the comics now are in color -- even on weekdays! Yes! :hippie: :toast: :bounce:

We grow dumber every day.

I'm guessing our sans-evolution friend will not post that story.

10. Clearly, the bloggers seldom break the big stories.
Drudge is given credit for Monica Lewinsky, and bloggers were the first to expose Dan Rather's folly with the fake Bush/TANG documents. Beyond that, it's just a lot of speculation, guessing, and rumor mongering. (We at DU were certainly well aware of the false rumors of Karl Rove's indictment, credited to a certain online source.)

However, the good news is that without blogs, we would have no place to voice our theories about MIHOP, LIHOP, and the intentional destruction of the WTC. (Speaking of which, where the hell did my chicken wire go?)
