"Musket"
My musket is true
the powder is dry
I musn't fire her
Until the whites of their eyes

The odds aren't so good
Probably twenty to one
At Lexington our ranks broke
No choice but to run

At Concord 'twas their turn
To turn tail and rabbit
At the shores of a bridge
The British trying to grab it.

My turn comes now
Patriot; Dead or alive
I fought for my country
Even if I didn't survive

If all that's left of me
are my bones in the sun
Dead but with honor
My battle was won.

Because I stood with pride
Against "Homeland" and King
But I will live on
When the Liberty Bell rings.

My powder is dry
Hand steady; Eyes wide
Me and my musket
Time to stand or hide.
