Cross Mark Warner of everyone's VP shortlists. |
|
It would be very unlikely that he would want the VP now that he has a chance to take the Senate seat.

He has apparently said that he want to return to Public life which at the time was a hint at the VP slot. but the Senate is too valuable to pass up and while he would be a good geographic balance for anyone who is running for president he could probably only deliver Virginia and he is strong enoughgh that he could do that with a run for the Senate.

3. I lived in VA while Mark Warner was governor |

He did a great job, and Virginia is probably the most well-run, efficient, "wired" State I have ever resided in. I believe Mark Warner would make a terrific Senator.
