Korean Troops Prepare for Withdrawal from Afghanistan
http://english.chosun.com/w21data/html/news/200708/200708310002.html

Pulling Korean troops out of Afghanistan was one of the key pledges made by Korea to win the release of the hostages held by the Taliban.

Starting September, the process will begin to lead to the full withdrawal of roughly 200 peacekeeping troops there by the end of this year.

The government says troops in Afghanistan were already scheduled to return home by the year's end.

The Korean military is however speeding up preparations for the withdrawal to show Korea's commitment to the hostage agreement.
