New Sanctuary announced in Kennebunk

Dear Friends,

I would like to be one of the first to announce an extraordinary gift to veterans from an extraordinary person, Laurie Dobson.
The CAMP ALEX experience last weekend has changed many lives including that of the property owner Laurie Dobson and her husband Michael. You may not know that Michael has a brain tumor and he said that having the campers and veterans and young IVAW
at their property was life afirming and a life changing positive experience for them.

Laurie just called to tell me that because of this past weekend's extraordinary experience that she went out and bought the neighboring property which includes a house and barn and she and I will set up a retreat for veterans and those who fight against the injustices of our government. We will call it CAMP ALEX in honor of Alex Arredondo. It will be a living memorial! We will host retreats that YOU CREATE! such as having the place become a sanctuary for PTSD patients, a place for IVAW to camp and stratagize and have fun,
a place for New England's Peace Community. This will be strictly non-profit.

Many of you already know that my business is for sale and now it is clear what I will devote the rest of my life to! I will work(volunteer) with Laurie Dobson and Melida Arredondo to create a special sanctuary for those who are fighting the good fight and those who need to recover from the trauma of war.

I also want to get back into my art and perhaps I can have art therapy workshops there to assist those in recovery with PTSD. There are many exciting and creative possibliities.

THis is an amazing gift and Laurie will be sending out the formal announcment soon. However, the property has been purchased in cash, it is a done deal.

We will start with an annual CAMP CASEY retreat, without the rally and march. Of course if the U.S. bombs Iran I told the chief of police I will have to break my promise to not mobilize thousands of people here again! But we will keep everyone updated on our ideas and WE WELCOME YOURS!!!

I am a victim of 14 years of Torture. I turned that misfortune to helping others by serving in Volunteer Mountain Rescue for 13 years.

I also helped with the Soviets at the end of the Cold War to help lead them away from Dictatorship.

My condition is getting worse. I cannot work.

Does anyone know of PTSD Sanctuaries for Men that are non-drug, non alcohol, peaceful and have contributed to society much in the past.

I am in trouble.
