Karl Rove Bids You Adieu ---pix--->>>

Karl takes one last look at the WH, and waves goodbye to his soulless young proteges.

He should have been led out in handcuffs.

5. Save that photo with the faces of the staff - may prove useful for
'matching up' down the road. As was the photo of the door pounders - Republicans from Washington, DC and other places - passing themselves off as Miami-Date residents with the right to vote - and they were successful in closing down a recount.

8. Rove does not seem to be leaving voluntarily
Edited on Sat Sep-01-07 09:39 AM by in search of sanity
I've seen several photos where Rove seems to regret leaving. I'm thinking of the photos taken the day of the announcement, as well as the ones from yesterday.
He was pushed out. I'd love to know who did the pushing and why.

12. Check out this Newsweek article....may provide some insight
Exit Strategies

As key members of Bush’s inner circle file out, a former White House official suggests Democratic pressure may have helped hasten the departure of Karl Rove.

-snip-

Rove’s departure will have a far bigger impact on the West Wing, starting next week—the first Rove-free day in the building since Bush arrived in January 2001. When it was first announced earlier this month, the exit of Bush’s architect was explained as the result of his desire to spend more time with his family.

In fact, some of Rove’s friends suggest that there are other factors at play, along with his genuine commitment to his family. After the end of the CIA leak investigation, Rove wanted to return to his former White House role and stay at the president’s side until January 2009, according to one source close to Rove, who declined to be named discussing the influential adviser’s plans. Instead, the loss of Congress last year and the determined attack by Democrats left him no room to maneuver. His decision to leave was shaped far more by Democratic pressure than Rove or Bush would ever acknowledge in public.

After the ’06 elections there wasn’t any breathing space afforded to him,” said one close confidant, a former White House official. “He was going to be under the gun all the time. Maybe he felt it was going to loosen up a bit, but that wasn’t the case.” There is no indication that the timing of his departure, or Snow’s, was influenced by the September showdown over Iraq—though that doesn’t mean Democrats won’t fuel such speculation.

14. The air is cleaner here in DC already!
Well...I'm not normally in the habit of stealing lines from right wing-nut Janet Parshall. But please allow me to do so just this one time.

I'll never forget on the eve of Bush's first Coronation, Janet Parshall was on t.v. saying "tomorrow we will breathe clean air again, and I can't wait." As if somehow to suggest that Clinton and Gore had fouled up the air here.

Well, Ms. Parshall, I feel the same way today. With one less criminal in the White Houe, the air is cleaner here in DC already! I can breathe again!

17. Time to watch "Downfall" again.
The people in the bottom picture are not unusual.

Hitler's madness was not isolated. The people in the bunker with him during his final days didn't see a worthless, degenerate, idiot. They saw a Fuhrer, not the truth.

The people above are not reacting to Rove as he is objectively, the destroyer of their future. They see him as the guy who put them in the suits they are wearing now.
