Here's the story the Idaho Statesman filed about Craig

Along with videos and sidebars. One of the sidebar articles explains, "If Sen. Larry Craig resigns his seat, Idaho law will require Gov. Butch Otter to appoint someone to fill the vacancy until the next general election, which is set for November 2008." The governor is named BUTCH? Of course!!!!

But the article is important because it illuminates what might have come out in a trial--and THAT'S what he was really afraid of.

Apparently, Craig's going to make an announcement at EDT today.
