He seems to be doing some media stuff worthy of note. The site where I find it requires registration, and I don't feel like it, but here's google's cached version of a page:

No Admittance To Virginia Schools For Illegals…
Is This A Reasonable Proposal?
Virginia Republicans announced legislation that would prohibit public colleges and universities from accepting illegal immigrants even if they attended a public high school and were brought to the US at an early age by their parents. GOP leaders said some Virginia residents are being denied access to college because too many illegals are taking available slots. Immigrant-rights activists say illegal immigrants aren't being admitted to Virginia colleges anyway and accused the GOP of trying to needlessly scare voters.
Is this a good plan? Will it help the citizens of Virginia? Is it fair to block young people from getting an education? Can you punish the son or daughter for something their parents did? Would it matter if the students paid out-of-state tuition? Or, do you agree with denying admittance across the board?
Looks a big push-pully to me ;) -- in the right direction.
Fred Grandy has lived a life about which most people can only fantasize. He starred on the wildly successful TV series The Love Boat, which not only obliged him to visit the world’s most romantic ports of call, but actually PAID him to do it. Yet at the height of his show business success, Fred abandoned Hollywood to launch a campaign for Congress in his native Iowa.
Fred began an eight year career in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he was greatly respected and liked on both sides of the political aisle. While a member of Congress, Fred won eight “Watchdog of the Treasury” awards.
He the left government and entered public service where he took over one of our nation’s largest charitable organizations, Goodwill Industries, as the President and CEO.
Sounds like not a too bad guy. Might even get a chuckle out of the new website.
As for the other one, speaking as a Canadian, all I can say is how glad I am not to have to look at him on Law and Order (which is proportionately much more popular up here) any more. My loss ... your pain. ;) but no -- really, the pain would be at least equally mine should he become president of our often much too pushy neighbour, actually, so I'll volunteer to put up with whatever he does on my TV screen if you make sure that doesn't happen.
