A couple of questions about U.S. / Panamanian relations |
|

-Why was the 1989 invasion not opposed more vociferously in Congress?
-Since the legality of the war is in doubt, under what authority are we holding Noriega as a P.O.W.?
-Did Sarkozy discuss French desires to extradite Noriega to France during his recent U.S. vacation?
What is your desire for Noriega? The choices are the following.... (A) house arrest in Panama due to old age. (B) Continued U.S. imprisonment by order of the Bush family (C) prison sentence in France.
Why the hell can't the U.S. leave latin America alone?

We demonized Noriega because he was interfering with CIA cocaine shipments.
Then he said something about havig GHWB "by the balls".
Then we illegally invaded, killing probably 100,000 innocents in El Chorillo the first morning.
Noriega did nothing any more outrageous than any other Central American leader at the time. He should be released outright. The French charges are no more legitimate than thos of the Dear Old USA>
We wanted control of the Canal.
Did you know that Karen Hughes' father was the last Governor of the Canal Zone?
