Leahy brought up the issue of Vitter not being asked to resign. Also that a Democrat
Would Be named if Vitter had to resign. He was asked about Craig on Fox News Sunday by Chris
Wallace. He did good to get this out---and I think surprized Chris.

Specter was also a guest and said Craig should not have resigned and instead just go to court. And implied he would be cleared.

3. Arlan - he can't "just go to court" now, he plea bargained, and would
basically be admitting perjury. What he should have done was to get a lawyer and then go to court instead of trying to cover it up to make it go away.

I thought you used to be a prosecutor, you should know that.
