Sen Saxby Chambliss of GA to assume Craig's duties |
|
I heard on one of the Sunday morning talk programs that Saxby Chambliss of Georgia is being groomed to take over Sen Larry Craig's Republican "leadership" positions.
Anybody want to bet that ol' Sax can't handle a little stall work ? The first hurdle he must pass before winning this awesome job -- is proving that he is capable of assuming the "wide stance". If that comes natural, he will advance to hand signals and foot tapping. As a Georgia voter, I have no doubt that the Sax can handle all of Larry's responsibilities.

1. I still can't believe someone could pull a lever for someone named Saxby Chambliss |
|
I can't believe it. People can't be that stupid. But they are.

3. Craig must have been less than useless. |
|
Because our chickenhawk Senator is one of worst in Georgia history.
All Chambliss does is show up for photo ops and keep his face firmly attached to Bush's zipper.

hmmm, which is sleazier:
A senator who consistently votes against equal rights for homosexuals caught soliciting gay sex in a public restroom?
A senator who built his election campaign around comparing a triple amputee war veteran to Osama bin Laden?

6. Wasn't Chambliss more or less Diebolded into office? |
|
This all makes perfect sense, Chambliss being a storebought tool and Craig giving chimpco grief on at least the Patriot act.

Here's Saxby's voting record: What the hell kind of name is that anyway? His son's name is BO (go figure) Oh, OK...I just looked. His first name is CLARENCE. WTF? Felix? Clarence? Willard?

13. Did Craig do anything else ? |
|
That's the only duties I ever heard of Craig performing.
We'll all have to draw our own conclusions :-)

10. Craig's leaving is actually a bit of a loss for us-- |
|
he stuck up for civil liberties during Patriot Act renewal, much to the disgust of BushCo--they wanted him out of office. You can bet that whoever fills in won't be as kind to the Constitution.

Probably an object lesson for anybody thinking about going off the reservation on Iran, too.

it looks like they're stepping out of line. I wonder what they have on the Iraq/Iran dissenters?
