Obama Supporters: Why do you support Obama?

This is the fourth of a series that started when another poster asked Hillary Clinton supporters to justify their support for her. I've followed that up with posts asking the same of Dennis Kucinich supporters and John Edwards supporters. Now, just for the fun of it, I'm asking the same of supporters of Barack Obama. Why do you support him?

1. Extremely bright, pragmatic, competent, hard-working, fair, and a charismatic leader.

2. I like Obama.

I have not decided on which horse yet and won't for some time but I generally like Obama. I don't agree with him all the time. His connections to the DLC bother me. I like him for that intangible something that causes me to just feel he will be skillful to putting our international relations back together and that he will be a LEADER in a better direction. I think he understands how government works but has not been in Washington long enough to be entrenched.

I will say his comments about Pakistan have bothered me greatly.
