And as Louie was dying in Palm Springs, Karl was developing and implementing a successful political strategy based on inflaming an anti-gay political base through wedge issues like gay marriage in very specific key battleground states in the general election.

My question is: Why would a son do such a thing, and call it love - either of his father or of his country?

When did the elder Mr. Rove die, and could this be why Karl resigned when he did?

4. All I can find is that he died in 2004,

and some articles refer to him as Rove's "adoptive father" while others refer to him as Rove's "stepfather." He died in Palm Springs, and it was all very quiet. Apparently Karl never bothered to telephone the people in Louis' phone book to tell them that Louis had died. Karl's mother committed suicide in 1981.

5. This is probably the key to GOP hypocrisy. Like voter caging, it wins elections!

The Florida 2000 election was stolen from Al Gore and the Dems by illegally purging the voter rolls.

Whatever it takes to win elections seems to be the unstated GOP motto.
