Mary Matalin loses her mojo and her pen on MTP

On this morning’s Meet The Press, Senior Cheney apologist and right wing sniper, Mary Matalin, threw a little hissy fit at Bob Shrum on the issue of Iraq and the upcoming presidential election. As Shrum continually smacks down her spin, Matalin becomes increasingly perturbed and at the end of the segment as Mike Murphy was getting in some right wing spin of his own, she chucks her pen across the table in front of him, noticeably drawing his attention and making a loud noise as it bounced across the table and onto the floor.

14. I actually thought Carville wasn't bad, Mary was a witch

she said mean, mean things, like she said that all of the pundits there had been glued to the Tv screen
about Larry Craig, while she was out with the real America attending school orientation. Then
she said some nasty dig at hubby Carville, when she was talking about performance,
she said to him, Well, I know all about YOUR performance and he collapsed in a huddle of
nervous laughter, she was beyond rude. She came out with all the new talking points,
Dems would be weak not to support the "emerging progress" in Iraq, blah, blah, and
that the Republican party was never anti-gay, and that the GOP will have an easy
time in 2008 becuz they understand the needs of the American people which the pundits
there and the Dems do not. I was actually looking to see if she had flown in on a broom.

Carville said that you could not judge people on their private lives like Bill Clinton and
Larry Craig. He did say that Petraeus had said the Iraq War (progress or not) would last
for another 10 years and that the American people would not buy a 15 year war.

If it was Matalin's pen at all (somebody Tivoed it & says not), it seemed to me that she was just being—oh God, what a disgusting thought—coquettish. Like they were all a bunch of pals sitting around, and somebody out-argued her, and that was her way of saying "Oh, you!" I mean, they were all yukking it up at the end of the segment. I think she's so botoxed up there's very little she can do with her face in the way of emoting. She beast.
