below freezing temps in Alaska tonight - end of summer is coming |
|
In light of all the heatwave stories lately, and it was 112 at my house in Riverside California today and yesterday, the NOAA website shows that north central Alaska will be having lows near 30 tonight, and along the coast at Pt. Barrow the low will be near 35.
So if you are roasting, have no fear winter is coming in a 4 months or so :-)

Our nights here in Anchorage are in the 40s now although it's still warming up into the 60s during the day. Up north the chill is on.
