Congressional Dems need to hold a gathering-on-the-capitol-steps moment

in order to crowd bush's Iraq-is-so-great moment. They need to do it tomorrow on their return, and they need to unequivocally state a few things: that despite bush's pr, the situation in Iraq is still dire, 4.2 million refugees, lack of vital infrastructure, political failure, etc. In addition, they need to stand firmly, and state loudly, that there will be consequences to any attack on Iran, and explain the American people, that Iran is complying with the IAEA and not a threat to the U.S. They need to provide options- like diplomacy in both Iraq and Iran.

They sorely need to do this. And they won't.
