Do you think it took Bush so long to appear...
before the troops because they were handpicking who would be in the audience?

3. I was wondering same.
Everything these guys do is so tightly choreographed, the delay was quite puzzling.

8. I was waiting to see it ..
even though it was going to be torture just to watch him but it began to take longer than they said and I had to go. I have heard reports about how overjoyed the troops were to see him but, with all of the things that I have heard is going on with the troops, I find it hard to believe that everyone in that audience would be that overjoyed. Either they were handpicked or they were the ones who are in the green zone and don't go on patrol. What in the hell is there to be happy about?

10. Happy to be sitting behind a desk and clapping for the Idjit.
An event like that brings out the "sweat" in the Brass. Those soldiers do what they are told or else.

I am going to send you a PM regarding this type of thing.

4. Had to pry him out of the plane and clean him up..
"...but I don't want to go to Iraq..." You think that Mr. Chickenshit went willingly? Entirely different thing sending our children over there and him having to go, even for a few hours of photo opportunities.

7. He took longer to show up in Nam
The Iraq war was a mistake but selling it repeatedly is never questioned only amazement at how slippery Bush is at getting in an out of places. Bravo Mr. Bush you have the making of something special.
