Ooops, now research says low bad cholesterol increases cancer risk
Edited on Tue Sep-04-07 01:27 PM by HereSince1628
Of course, the study is only suggestive, and more ($$$$) research is needed. And by the way don't quit taking your statins if you are on them...

But this could make dealing with the results of your blood work really difficult.
There may be Good Cholesterol, Good Bad Cholesterol levels and Bad Bad Cholesterol levels.

6. I would be completely unsurprised if
this is confirmed by further research.

I still like the theory about the body generating too much cholesterol due to bad diet practices in general. Based on studies of diabetics.

8. gawd, I've known this since the 90's. high cholesterol = low cancer risk,
and vice versa. I thought it was common knowledge.
