WEBN FIREWORKS IN CINCINNATI
For the 1st time ever these fireworks were shown worldwide - through the Pentagon station & other stations broadcasting live to 2.3 million troops - and the music & message of the 40th anniversary fireworks was definitely anti-war/anti-bush - it was OUTSTANDING. The best these fireworks have ever been.

I don't know how those of you not from Cincinnati could ever see them - but if there is a way - you should definitely try!!

Then again, DUers can find anti-Bush messages in a hamster cage

4. Sure
Every year our local radio station has a huge fireworks show Labor Day Weekend. This year was their 40th anniversary of doing them. They were sponsored by Cincinnati Bell and the radio station WEBN.

For the 1st time ever they were shown to our military all over the world.

The first song starts out Sgt. Pepper's Loney Heart Club Band - and then you hear Johnson speak that I will not seek, nor accept the nomination...

Then you hear Nixon over music & fireworks saying he is not a crook.

And then you hear Bush laughing about those missing WMD's - along to the song by the Who - we won't get fooled again

There were several instances where the message was "we want you home"

There was a Lisa Simpson message saying - when are you going to learn to start taking responsibility for your actions...

And then, the grand finale was a great big red heart.

It was moving - there were about 500,000 people down at the riverfront - so this message went out loud & clear! They were definitely sending the troops a message.

15. Actually - unfortunately, Cincinnati is pretty "red"
very conservative in most parts - so that's why this was REALLY A VERY BIG DEAL HERE.

13. Somebody who is more computer savy may be able to
This show just gave me such hope - it was so awe-inspiring! And to think it went to 2.3 MILLION TROOPS. There is no way these bastards are going to get away for much longer.
