The Crassness of the American President ---pix--->>>

First, Mr. Bush said, “I’ll give some speeches, just to replenish the ol’ coffers.” With assets that have been estimated as high as nearly $21 million, Mr. Bush added, “I don’t know what my dad gets — it’s more than 50-75” thousand dollars a speech, and “Clinton’s making a lot of money.”

Then he said, “We’ll have a nice place in Dallas,” where he will be running what he called “a fantastic Freedom Institute” promoting democracy around the world. But he added, “I can just envision getting in the car, getting bored, going down to the ranch.”

3. it has become quite a challenge for me personally to reconcile
my views of a shared humanity amongst all, and Him being part of that humanity. It shakes my faith.

6. Then I remember Gandhi, Dr. King, Al Gore, Dennis Kuchinich
Paul Wellstone, Andy Stephenson, Russ Feingold, and hundreds upon thousands of names of other wonderful, loving human beings, and I hang on for dear life and sanity.

Hang with me anytime :)

29. I believe him to be a sociopath, so he really doesn't belong to the family
Shared humanity doesn't interest him, he doesn't get it at all. He never will. He enjoys killing - remember him jeering at the Texas prisoner before he executed her. This is a boy who exploded living frogs for fun, and he never grew up. Sociopaths are fundamentally different.

36. That's true. I'm no psychoanalyst, let alone a judge and jury
but during anyone's life, one has to develop a sense of who cannot be reasoned with, who is dangerous, an enemy that requires constant vigilance and defense and can NEVER be trusted. There is no shortage of clear indications that Bush and many of his enablers are such renegades. I believe him to be both insane and deliberately malicious, but whatever his inner motives, his actions have consistently had the pattern of of insanity and malice. He is responsible for the death or terrible harm of hundreds of thousands of people and will continue to harm and kil, probably in escalating fashion, until he is stopped. He shows no remorse, and if anything, seems to be hardening and intensifying his views. I don't want to hate him, because that gives ME pain, and I would wish that he could be impeached, tried, and removed from office and placed where he can not harm anyone else ever again. Not killed, not tortured, but confined to a life where he can no longer cause harm. Is he "evil" or "sick"? I can't and don't need to make moral or medical judgements like that. But I am very certain that he must be removed from power over others. He has taken himself out of the human family on a fundamental level. I would find it easier to pity him - for he is truly a pathetic being - if he were not actively destroying so much and fomenting a world war.

9. In 10-15 years, I'm guessing, only a handful of those 59 million will admit to voting for Dumbya...
Just as today it's so hard to find Nixon voters from his '72 landslide.

10. He's not just a moron. He's delusional.
Whi in the fuck does he think is going to pay him $50k to give a fucking speech? He's the second most unpopular guy in the country, and he can't utter a coherent sentence. Jeebus.

15. People like her don't have that kind of cash.
The big-money speaking gigs are all corporate/university/think-tank. The wealthy, fascist whacko outfits are all going to prefer to be growled at by Cheney, I'm guessing. Honestly, I can't think of anyone who'd hire Bush.

Also, worth noting that he doesn't say he'll write a book. I guess "My Pet Goat" has already been done.

Remember, it's not about the MAN - it's about the name and the CASH that it brings.

Conservative organizations/Saudis/big business will cough up the bucks big time.

14. God damn.
Stephanie, it was incredibly difficult to make my way down your collage. But - it's important. Everyone should see this, because they are the effects of Bush's destruction and neglect around the globe.

To me, the most damning is the photo #2. It's from the holocaust after hurricane Katrina. Just look at that photo. Doesn't it look like a 3rd world country? Like maybe Bangladesh? Or maybe Sri Lanka?

They're all terrible. But - that one is unbelievable.

33. Me thinks the psycho may be regretting those words. They weren't received well by anyone but his
most ardent sheeple supporters...Ron Christie on Tweety, for example.:(

He's such an embarrassment. His words didn't surprise me in the least though. All they think about is money. Humanity is just in their way of making more of it....you know...an annoyance.
