Best KO special comment EVER!
Edited on Tue Sep-04-07 08:07 PM by Texas Explorer
Oh my god! Keith let loose both barrels. I'm speechless!

As he deceived the troops at AlAsad Air Base yesterday with the tantalizing prospect that some of them might not have to risk being killed and might get to go home, Mr. Bush probably did not know that, with his own words, he had already proved that he had been lying, is lying, will be lying about Iraq.

He presumably did not know, that there had already appeared those damning excerpts from Robert Draper's book "Dead Certain." "I'm playing for October-November," Mr. Bush said to Draper. That, evidently, is the time during which, he thinks he can sell us the real plan. Which is, to quote him: "To get us in a position where the presidential candidates, will be comfortable about sustaining a presence."

Comfortable, that is, with saying about Iraq, again quoting the President, "stay longer."

And there it is, Sir. We've caught you.

8. I was wondering that too
this is how the word impeach gets mainstream. A majority want it but now maybe the voices will get louder.

10. We want 'resign' into the mainstream
Like a giant lightbulb over America - oh yeah, all we have to do is make them RESIGN. No drawn out impeachment necessary.

RESIGN.

3. It was definitely one of the best he's done...
...but for me, the VERY best was his SC last September 11, broadcasting from a site overlooking Ground Zero. Every time I see that one, I get angry, I get sad, and I know, deep down in my heart, that things MUST change.

It's so hard to pick a favorite, though... All of his Comments are just so damn GOOD.

What is he expecting to happen in October-November that will make the presidential candidates "comfortable" with staying in Iraq? Is this out of context? Because it really gives me the creeps.

14. That's when the primary season will really start to heat up.
It's about when he wants to be able to make "staying the course" in Iraq a campaign issue, presumably through the use for more "surge" B.S.

16. Keith should do a live remote from the impeachment march on 9/15.
We all know that the corporate media is completely corrupt and co-opted, so we know in advance that there will be scant coverage of the ANSWER march in DC on 9/15, and what coverage there is, will be heavilly slanted against us.

But if Keith did his broadcast from INSIDE the march that day -- interviewing people as he walks alongside them -- he could cut through the MSM, the Kurtz's and Seelyes and Connaleys and Matthewses and Russerts of the world, and communicate directly to the electorate.

The people of the U.S. need to know that there IS a desire for impeachment afoot. If left up to the corporate media, that truth will never see the light of day. Keith is the only outlet we have who is even on the fringes of the mainstream media. Our only resource and perhaps our only hope.

20. I don't think you'll see him doing that.
First of all, it's not his place to march, even if it is his place to edtorialize. But I also think he's unlikely to just go out and interview people to ask what they think. He's never been very comfortable with the "live man on the street" interview.

But what he is comfortable with, he does brilliantly.

This was KO's best yet...it took me shook my guts and insides up and had me ready to take to the streets....I only wish that members of Congress had 1% of the amount of passion and courage that Keith has to speak the truth to Bush the way Keith did tonight in this special comment....

Wow....just wow.... :applause:
