Senator Vitter And Senator Craig |
|
If Senator Craig admitted to having sex with a male prostitute I would strongly argue against his resignation and if Senator Vitter admitted to peeking at women on the toilet through cracks in closed bathroom stalls I would argue for his resignation... IMHO, prostitution is malum prohibitum (bad because society says so) and peeking at people in intimate activities is malum in se (bad in and of itself)...
Of course, politics come into play and a Democrat would be replacing Vitter and a Republican would be replacing Craig...

1. I think it's more to it than that. |

i think it's also about the latent anti-homosexual feelings that many still have, the media included. They were both sex scandals but the fact that one was gay is why they pushed hard to get him out. Vitter? They gave a pass. BOTH should have been gone.
