PHOTO: The "Jane Fonda" President?

President George W. Bush meets with Iraqi tribal leaders (formerly "insurgents") during his unannounced visit to Al-Asad airbase in Anbar Province September 3, 2007.

======

Yet, the right waing is not "Fonda Jane" 35 years later. And in their world this differs from Ms. Fonda exactly how?

How many American troops were these "former insurgents" responsible for killing?

3. Do tribal leaders just hang out at our airbases all the time, awaiting these "unannounced" visits?
Or was it only "unannounced" to we the people?

4. Yes, yes they do. Actually they scan the skies with ancient binoculars
just waiting for American Presidents to show up to "negotiate" with them.

Great point, dicksteele

5. Everyone else in the pic has a serious expression. Bush* looks like
he has serious mental defects. I wonder if he is giving the sheik a nickname in the second picture. Or making some disgusting remark like, "Wow, I bet those rags on your head come in handy if you run out of towels in the men's room."

11. Life is just a rolling frat party for the chimp..
he's either in cocktail party mode, or faux populist mode. He either looks drunk, drugged, perplexed, or a combination thereof.

7. That was really clever of you to point this out. It just goes to show the
absolute desparation of the man and how there's nothing he won't try to pull this lost 'war' out of the shitter.

8. And of course, none of his "base" will see the least bit wrong with "negotiating with terrorists"
because their Precious Leader did it.

10. I wonder what horrendous "business deal" is being hatched there?
Will this pic come back to bite the GOP in the ass in 15 years?

And on a more contemporary note, what will these tribal leaders do if Iran is bombed?
