7. I can't help but think..
... he took stock of the situation and asked himself one simple question "what have I got to lose?"

Basically, the worst case scenario for him is that he loses his job. Why give it up so easily?

12. Could be that a long term prominent Senator and member of the
Judiciary Committee seems to now be supporting him???

Could it be he said he planned to resign because NOBODY was on his side, but now he feels some confidence because of Spector???

I actually think he will still resign, but the time between now and then should be quite interesting.

16. Isn't It Scary That A Guy Like This Is Representing People Of His State....
he says he made a bad decision by pleading guilty when he was caught and said he probably shouldn't have done that.

Now he is saying that he made a bad decision by saying he is resigning.

Just the kind of guy that I want to represent me.

Do you think he made a bad decision when he decided to support *Co and the occupation of Iraq?

Do you think he made a bad decision to be pro-life?

Do you think he made a bad decision to be against stem-cell research?

Do you think he made a bad decision............ (you fill it in).

What was that moniker they pinned on Kerry - Flip Flopper? Ya think?

18. It's not the bathroom foot-tapping incident that the Repubs were trying to hide...
If there is an ethics investigation because he is staying, there will undoubtedly be other incidents which will require an explanation.

I understand that Craig's dalliances were well known on the Hill.

THis could be quite interesting.
