Rough start for Bush in Sydney
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=279325

After a surprise visit to Iraq, U.S President George Bush has arrived in Sydney for the APEC summit.

The Australian city is locked down in the biggest security operation in Australian history.

The U.S leader flew in to a protest conducted by the anti-war group, Stop Bush Coalition, which began what it says will be a series of events, culminating in a march by up to 20,000 people next Saturday.
snip...

While Australian prime minister John Howard is a strong supporter of the U.S leader, a current opinion poll shows most Australians believe Bush is the worst U.S president in history.

***************************************************************

So if Australians don't like Bush why does Howard like him and support him???

5. Given the behavior of Republicans lately . . .
Perhaps W and Howard will be meeting in the men's toilet at the airport for a one-on-one rendezvous.

6. How far away are these protests?
From what I've heard, they have walled off a good portion of the city so 'world leaders' never see the protests.

The Chimp cannot be bothered by those who have a different mindset than he does.

7. I think a good gift for the president
would be a chocolate revolver. And since he's so busy, you'd probably have to run up to him real quick and hand it to him. -Jack Handey

8. Its the same here in Canada...
Canadians can't stand the monkey either but Stephen Harper sucks up to him all the time. Harper's nothing but a cheap little wannabee.
