Poll question: Do you want Cheney Impeached?
Cheney is an Asshole. Even most Repugs would agree.

guy like Dick Cheney.

He's an avid sportsman, you know. Trout fishing. And a hunter! Geese. Quail. The elderly. Accomplished across settings in this regard. And always with another great outdoor story at the ready.

And Christ of the Ozarks, but what a swath the man cuts across the world of fashion! His choice of a parka and mudboots at the international gathering for the memorial at Auschwitz -- well, it took my breath away.

Smartly done, Dick. You stood out from the sea of blandly apparelled Old Europeans.

It's unfair to praise Dick alone without mention of his charming wife Lynne. Quite a gal, that Lynne. She's at least as skilled an author as Dick is a hunter. I challenge anybody to claim otherwise. And those toasty little lesbian scenes -- she's so sophisticated!

Long as we're on the subject of Dick, thank god someone finally told that nasty liberal Pat Leahy to "go f-ck himself." Leahy's the kind of guy who gets on your nerves, always blathering on about justice and the Constitution and crap like that. Dick dispatched with him in record time!

But I think the most endearing traits I honor in Dick Cheney would be his prominent contribution to the Iraq War effort -- real progress is being made, you know, and the insurgency is in its last throes -- as well as the gutless lying he uses to couch his propaganda. Those two things combined I think catapult Dick Cheney into the realm of the gods as far as I'm concerned, and I'd like to see statues and stamps of the man go into double-drive as soon as humanly possible.

A great American. Bless his artifical heart.

10. Stacked Poll! ;)
I would rather see the entire, corrupt, decaying system that is now in shambles and serving only the special interests completely revamped!

Right now, we are being managed by an entrenched hierarchy. In my opinion, our problems do not really stem from individuals alone, though our penchant from infancy is to be attracted to, and give attention to, the human face. The cavalcade of cascading problems that people who take the time and effort to look and see, are systemic.

I don't think it takes much rocket science to see that the rapid and accelerating technological complexity of our species is outstripping our social and intellectual maturity to come to grips with the phenomena. Instead, we have an old guard using new technology to bolster its own agendas, as if the results for the masses do not matter progressively. A quick survey of where our collective energy and the focus of our technology is going shows that fear and domination are the two leading factors that influence everything else. The fear ranges from the top echalons where they would like to continually keep the power, resources, and prestige that they have and expand on it infinitely, to the kind that is used to keep the larger proportions of underlings from effecting much in the way of massive and necessary change that would only serve to keep up with what is being developed and more effectively distribute it for a larger, and more altruistic benefit.

The domination is the key issue. The Dominators are playing survival and reward to the fittest, as their Machiavellian ways tend to exhibit. They will never stop that game as long as they are able to sustain it, and our partisan politics prove to be a very vital and effective extension of their eon of concentrated, family alliances. The Houses are playing out a chess game and doing a great job at making it look like choice and random fate are the driving forces in that equation.

Contrary to what some might think about the Dominators, they are afraid of many things. Hence, fear is a very influential facto in their lives as they foist it upon ours. It takes a lot to build and hold onto a bridle that circumvents large masses of people for the sake of maintaining influence and control. Sadly, these Dominators, in the past and in smaller, less notable instances, have been the primary cause of the total extinction of tribes and clans throughout history -- to the point where they simply disappeared without much of a trace. Dominators seem to be obsessed with their process of control and the booty they can parasitically suck from those around them, as we see today. Considering the scope of their style of self-interested drama playing out today, we may be seeing yet another round of Dominator equals extinction, coming around. That is, simply because they have managed to grasp the reigns of so many aspects of our society and of those in the global sense.

If we can't live without Dominators and find a far different and equitable approach to using the technology that is now at our fingertips, then I really don't see much point in participating in a suckers game where most of what we do and think and how we respond is pretty much factored in with percentages and decimal points well in place.

There are those of you who are reading this who may know you are Dominators. You already know the game and how it goes in your personal and professional life. You would be the first to either squash this type of revelation and deny what it implies, or you could be the first to expand, open, and free your minds to the effect that the domination is what literally holds back a potential, quantum-leap for the species, at least, theoretically. Otherwise, you will probably evoke reasons why domination and submission are very important parts of the human condition and can/will never be abandoned for more voluntary collectivism, whatever shape or form it may take.
