Scarborough running clip of Big Dawg "having a rough time" on Today show |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-05-07 08:00 AM by Atman
This is absolutely comical...they'll grasp at anything to bash Bill Clinton, who is currently making the rounds on the talk shows. This morning, apparently, he appeared with Matt Lauer, who really made Bill squirm according to Joe and his flunky du jour. They went on about how smoov BC was on all the other shows so far, like Letterman, etc. But when he got on the Today show (no disclaimer about Today being another NBC product, but I guess they assume everyone knows that), Lauer asked him about Larry Craig and Clinton became so flustered that he started sounding like Bush. That was Scab's take on it. Mr. Smoov fell apart.
Did anyone see the clip? Fortunately, Joe ran it for us. I laughed. Mightily. BC took the question straight on and handled it with aplomb. Craig has some problems but they're a family issue. As for the Republicans kicking him out, it's their party, it's for them to decide. That was pretty much it.
It was truly comical seeing these Morning Assclowns trying to make this out to be the next Ms. South Carolina clip. "But Bill Clinton usually speaks in long, complete paragraphs...here it was just pop pop pop!" OOOOH NOOO! He was succinct and to the point, you mean? Egads! He's falling apart! They WISH Bush's best days of speaking were as good as this episode of Clinton's "stumbling."
Got YouTube anyone?

2. Pretty hard to imagine Bill getting flustered at anything |
|
As we've seen, he can forget his notes at a speech and still give a kick-ass performance.
That's what a real leader can do.

more Presidential than the shrub can ever dream of being.
I watched the interview in its entirety. When they were panning away for a break before the interview, you could see Bill and Matt, Bill says something and cracks the whole cast and crew up. Shrub will never interact with others with such ease, acceptance and respect.

7. We miss him too. Scarborough is insulting to "everyone's" |
|
intelligence. He portrays himself as a guru and confidant of government.......his underlying bias is always evident. I also think Imus had more interesting guests.

6. I caught the interview. |

I don't think BC was squirming, it was more frustration about the way Lauer was asking questions. I can't remember verbatim what was said but you could see it in Bill's face that he wanted to tell Lauer to shut the f*ck up so he can talk.
Yes, the media spins things again!

8. It busts their flaccid balls more to see a real man |
|
and they try to use that for their viagra. The day Joe "what happened to my intern" Scarbrough even comes close to Bill Clinton, old Joe will join the Tibetan Monks.
People are still wondering how old Joe's intern committed suicide by bashing her head on a desk.

9. I thought about that this morning ... I was wondering if, back during the Monica debacle, |
|
when Craig was talking about how BC was a "naughty, naughty boy", ...
Did Larry Craig want to spank BC? (and I mean literally, not figuratively ...)
