cause but for us- they wouldn't even exist.

No - this do over is for us.

We have to come to terms with this ourselves - and we are pretty unforgiving.

That we did a great job in WWII - no more than that - unbelievable - we shouldn't have won - those guys were incredible -

Our little kids - baseball players - kicked the living shit out of people brought up to fight a war.

Our citizen soldiers - what a gift they gave us - at such a cost.

We are responsible for maybe a million deaths here - I don't forget that.

But what did we save?? Once - so many years ago - you think that goes away??

But we have children - and the children of our children - it goes on and on.

We can't change that - but as a society - we are due a mistake. We did that.
